About Cloud Catcher

Great coffee doesn’t begin at the machine. It begins with intention—how the coffee is sourced, how it is roasted, and how fresh it reaches your cup. At Cloud Catcher, every bag of roasted coffee beans is crafted to deliver clarity, balance, and consistency from the first brew to the last.

We work with specialty-grade coffees chosen for their character, seasonality, and traceability, then roast them in small batches to highlight what makes each profile unique. Whether it’s a chocolate-forward espresso blend designed for silky milk drinks or a bright single origin with clean acidity for filter brewing, our focus is always the same: flavor you can recognize and repeat.

Growth Philosophy

Focused on coffee, not cafés

Our focus remains firmly on sourcing, roasting, and supplying specialty coffee, supported by professional training and consultancy—allowing us to concentrate fully on quality at every stage.

Manageable scale for close oversight

By operating at a controlled scale, we maintain hands-on oversight of roasting, distribution, and service standards, ensuring reliability for every partner and customer.

Quality-first, disciplined growth

We prioritise the integrity of our coffee over rapid expansion. Growth is intentional, measured, and guided by what we can deliver consistently well.

Built on long-term relationships

We invest in enduring partnerships with producers, wholesale clients, and collaborators who share our commitment to consistency and care.

Quality & Recognition

In 2018, Cloud Catcher was awarded a Bronze Medal for its Dawn Espresso Blend at the Australia International Coffee Awards. This remains the only publicly documented award for the brand and reflects our early commitment to thoughtful roasting and balanced flavour, principles that continue to guide our work today.

Why Cloud Catcher: Vertically Integrated by Design

Cloud Catcher is vertically integrated, giving us direct control across the specialty coffee value chain from origin to cup.

We manage global green bean sourcing, in-house roasting and blending, wholesale and retail distribution, and professional training and consultancy under one roof. This structure enables closer collaboration with partners, greater quality control, and a deeper understanding of how our coffee performs in real-world settings.

By operating beyond pure trading or roasting, we build stronger wholesale relationships, deliver more consistent outcomes, and maintain credibility within the specialty coffee community.

Market & Customer Focus

Cloud Catcher serves both wholesale customers, including cafés, hospitality groups, and businesses, and retail customers through packaged coffee offerings.

Our operations are primarily based in Malaysia, with selective and measured regional expansion within Southeast Asia through coffee supply and training services. This approach allows us to grow responsibly while maintaining the standards our partners expect.
